This website focuses on small and micro-caps listed on major markets worldwide. No penny stocks, no pink sheets, nothing like that. Our goal is to gain insight into those companies that offer a substantial opportunity to cover unmet needs with cutting-edge drugs.
This website mainly features two sections:
- Stock notes: these are brief write-ups on biotech companies ahead of close binary events that are likely to have a significant impact on the stock price such as FDA and EMA decisions, advisory committees, clinical data presentations, conference calls on critical aspects of the company, etc. They're not in depth analysis, but they do offer insight on clinical data, market potential and competition.
- Analysis: they're longer reports that describe more thoroughly the pipeline and technology of a given company with special detail to drug performance, expected clinical results and next milestones as well as the competitive landscape and their commercial prospects.

I focus on both short and long term investments. Companies that have short term catalysts which may have a dramatic impact on the share price are opportunistic investments or rather, trades. I usually take a long or short position to hold through those binary events. On most occasions, I will take a long term approach on those companies that have a good story behind them, solid science, competitive management and a quality scientific team, but are undervalued compared to industry standards.
I do not practice short selling, I only buy shares or options (call or puts). My objective is to become more knowledgeable in biotechnologies, to be aware of new developments, to carry out market analysis, and of course to have fun and, why not, make some money along the way if my bet pans out.
